About 2. 5 minutes of ambient audio recorded at the hurunui jacks campground adjacent to the kaniere river near hokitika on the west coast of new zealand. This is an inland tropical rain-forest setting. There are lots of insect sounds, birds, and the sound of the river (not very prominent) in the background. No other sounds captured (no cars, airplanes, honking horns, people talking, etc). Would be good to use for a camp scene ambient in a similar location, nature scene, etc. Recorded with a zoom h1.

A semi-automatic rifle, pitched down 3 semi-tones. Made in bitwig, i used 10 different recorded gunshot layers that have been eq'ed and multiband compressed to form a new gun sound. Subbass was synthesized for the super low end. The process i use is to select frequencies using high pass and lowpass filters from a recording for the lows, mids and highs. This forms a "layered sound".

Classic creaky door. Recorded using blue yeti mic direct to digital. A new door that sounds 150 years old. Wooden environment (workshop) with very little background sound. Crisp, clean recordings, edited for main content but these are dry and raw waiting for you to add ambience! please use freely for any purpose incl. Commercial - no credit of any kind is required. Comments appreciated ;).

Heard this out my window at 11:30 at night, 05/14/20, central new jersey. Probably a fox. From some brief research into fox calls (there are over 40 known calls) with this video https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=j6nuhlibhsm it sounds like either an alarm bark or vixen scream.

Giving a test of my new mono lapel mic i noticed some interference/static on the right channel - which is strange as it is mono. . . . But i thought it sounded interesting and i hope it's useful to you. Comment what you used it in below for some extra exposure for your project - but it isn't necessary. Use for whatever, no attribution etc! i hope you like it!.

About 5 minutes of ambient audio of surf crashing on the rocks of hokitika beach near sunset point. Recorded with a zoom h1 in february 2017. I do state the location and date at the very end - so be sure to clip it if you use this! there are no other sounds like cars, people, or airplanes. Just surf breaking on the rocks!.

To me the final effect sounded like a haunted space ship. I began with a 10 second sample of ordinary speech then lowered the pitch, stretched the wave pattern, added echo and reverb. Then i copied portions of the wave pattern to a new track and mixed the two into a mono track. Did this several times while also using noise reduction and normalization.

Some nice birds and some light rain, recorded at dawn, around 5:00 a. M. A cardinal and a song sparrow predominate. This recording is pretty clean for the suburbs and has few extraneous sounds. -----------2 primo em172 mic capsules -> zoom h1 recorder.

Note: audio may not sound of good quality in preview. A bass loop made with the free brainstormer synth (it's awesome, you can find it here: http://roazhondsp. Storm-mastering. Com/), and then heavy modulated using lots of bandpass & notch filtering automation, pitch automation, distortion, resampling, & multiband compression. I'd recommend to splice things up a bit by slicing it into pieces & arranging them into something new.

This clip was a test for my new roland cs-10em binaural microphones. It was recorded from my balcony. I live in city so you will hear traffic, cars and motorcycle, people chatting and a barking dog. For this clip i used my zoom h1n (96khz/24bit) with roland cs-10em binaural microphones. The sound was no post-processed.

Various typings on apple macbook pro 2018 computer. Close up, multiple keystrokes, single clicks in different speeds. Recorded with sennheiser mke600 mic on a zoom h5 recorder.

I created a chip track to which i added a reverbation effect. I copied it and then rendered both onto a new track. Reusing the same sound , i lengthened the tempo and increased the pitch on the second one. I then reused it a few times to imitate the sound of the ball bouncing off the table, speeding up the tempo and adding a fade out effect. This is a field recording from a window on a street corner in williamsburg, brooklyn, during a summer afternoon in august 2019. This is a short clip of a single distant horn honk from a car. This is a short clip intended to be a background texture for sound design, longer version also available. Recorded with a neumann stereo pair into the sound devices 633.
